About the Ford Bronco

Drivers who prefer to take the path less traveled have adored the iconic Ford Bronco for generations. Returning from its hiatus, the Bronco is back to capture the hearts of new off-road enthusiasts with both the classic two-door body style and the first-ever four-door variant in the nameplate’s history. Since the Bronco has always reflected a personality that’s as uniquely untamed as those who own them, the Bronco is available in a total of 7 individual trim levels and over 200 dealer-installed accessories.

Ford engineers painstakingly developed the Bronco with the exhilarating performance of the Mustang combined with the toughness of an F-Series truck. This inspired combination has resulted in segment-leading levels of off-road capabilities along with Built Wild™ durability to help you conquer the most inhospitable environments. No matter how far your travels take you, the ergonomic interior of the Bronco helps keep you both connected and comfortable. The wait is finally over. Now it’s your chance to write the next chapter in the legacy of the iconic Ford Bronco.

What the Critics Say

"Nevertheless, I believe the Ford Bronco is well worth that wait if you're able. It's comfortable on the road, far more than its primary competitor, and it's loaded with solid technology and ample creature comforts. Whether it's headed for the dirt or not, the Bronco is the latest in a long line of home runs from the big Blue Oval." -- Roadshow by CNET

"Otherwise the Bronco is a win in every metric. From its character and design to its thoughtful and helpful drive modes and wide availability of its off-road package, the Bronco is the best buy among its competition for most shoppers. Whether you stick with the turbo four-cylinder or opt for the turbo V6, the Bronco has sufficient and smooth power for daily driving with a quick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission." -- Edmunds

What’s New for 2026

The most adventurous member of the Ford SUV model lineup benefits from a variety of exciting updates for the 2026 model year. Perhaps the biggest update for 2026 is the arrival of the all-new 60th Anniversary Package now available on Bronco Outer Banks trims. Celebrating six decades of excellence, this package adds exclusive design cues inside and out. The availability of the 2-door body style has been reduced, now offered on either Base or Badlands trims exclusively. Azure Gray Metallic, Robin’s Egg Blue, and Eruption Green Metallic have been discontinued while Wimbledon White and Avalanche exterior colors arrive for 2026.

Ford Bronco Features

Ford Bronco Performance

Go-Anywhere Performance

Bronco models of the past have been synonymous with capable performance on and off the road and the latest Ford Bronco is certainly no exception. Drivers can choose between the remarkable four-cylinder torque from the 2.3L EcoBoost® 4-cylinder or muscular gasoline-powered horsepower and torque available with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6. To help you excel at low-speed rock climbing, the Bronco is offered with a segment-first 7-speed (6+1) manual transmission along with the available advanced 4x4 system with automatic on-demand engagement. For an even more responsive drive at all speeds, there’s also an optional segment-first 10-speed automatic transmission. Sitting atop the range is the muscular 418-horsepower 3.0L EcoBoost® V6 beneath the hood of the Bronco Raptor.

Every Bronco comes standard with an independent front suspension for enhanced control and a durable solid axle design featuring coil springs with five locating links at the rear. Drivers can also select one of two available 4X4 systems. These range from a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case to the advanced system which features a two-speed electromechanical transfer case with auto mode. The exclusive Terrain Management System™ with G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) Modes™ is engineered to help drivers effortlessly traverse all types of terrain.

Ford Bronco Styling

Heritage Styling

In order to create a modern, heritage-inspired look for the Bronco, the design team at Ford began the process with a life-size digital scan of a first-generation model. It stands out with widely flared fenders along with flat, no-nonsense character lines featuring chiseled edges. Its available best-in-class suspension travel is made possible by a fully-boxed, high-strength steel chassis on both two-door and four-door models. Bronco drivers can also enjoy an open-air driving experience thanks to roof panels that can be removed by one person by unlocking latches from the interior. If you’re having trouble choosing between cloth or hardtops, four-door models can be equipped with both for the ultimate in flexibility. Trail sights located on the front fenders also act as tie-downs, similar to those on the first-generation Bronco, with a 150-pound capacity for confidently carrying longer items.

Ford Bronco Interior

Adventure-Ready Interior

Achieving harmony between creature comforts and trail-ready ergonomics, the cabin of the Ford Bronco is purpose-built and ready for action. No matter how dirty your adventures get, optional washable rubberized floors with integrated drains and marine-grade vinyl seating surfaces make cleanup a breeze. Interior color choices were inspired by both natural palettes and outdoor equipment. True to its heritage, the dashboard of the Bronco features gauges and controls that are both clearly visible and intuitive. For the ultimate in connectivity, you can select the optional take advantage of the segment-exclusive 12-inch SYNC® 4 system. This system integrates easily with the FordPass Performance app which allows Bronco owners to easily plan, navigate, and share their off-road adventures with over 1,000 curated trail maps. Another unique feature offered inside the Bronco is attachment points integrated directly into the instrument panel for easily mounting 12-volt power devices such as cameras, navigation units, phones, or other devices.
