What’s New for 2024
There are a variety of exciting updates to the electrified Ford Mustang Mach-E for the 2024 model year. A new rear motor has been added to the model range featuring reduced weight and improved torque. New battery packs now deliver greater range and faster charging times compared to last year’s version with increases ranging from 10 to 20 miles depending on model. In addition to faster charging times, 2024 Mach-E models are now compatible with the Tesla Supercharger network of public fast charging stations.
Elsewhere, an all-new Mustang Mach-E Rally joins the model range for 2024 with rally-inspired appearance wheels, tires, spoilers, and a stripe package. Last year’s GT Performance model has been discontinued in favor of a new Performance Upgrade option for the standalone GT model. Finally, the standard infotainment system gets improvements that include new button icons and simplified menu structures.

Electrified Performance
Giving a new meaning to the concept of “electrifying” performance, the Mach-E is available with standard and extended-range battery options featuring either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive complemented by permanent magnet motors. When equipped with rear-wheel drive and the extended-range battery, the Mach-E delivers up to an EPA-estimated 320 miles of total range. Two performance variants, the GT and GT with Performance Upgrade, dial up the exhilaration even further. In fact, the GT Performance Upgrade offers 480 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque along with a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds. Charge times are equally as impressive, with an estimated charge time from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 32.3 minutes using a DC fast charging station. For optimized performance in extreme weather and improved charge times, the Mustang Mach-E batteries are liquid-cooled.
